Our Mission:
To help families regain financial stability by assisting with everyday life's common challenges when one-time or recurring costs are beyond their control. These areas often include Utility Bill Assistance or Disconnect Notification costs, Medical Expenses (Out-of-Pocket Prescription costs), Funeral Costs, Housing Eviction Notices, and Single-Family Vehicle Repossessions, among many others.

Our Roots
Credit Angel Foundation (CAF) is a non-profit, faith-based organization that aids in the prevention of homelessness and human service-related crises for families within our community. CAF has been serving the Shreveport-Bossier City area and surrounding communities for over ten years. Our founder, Shunta Hall, and her husband, Derrick Hall, have been fully self-funding these critical sustaining needs with help from loyal community partners. As CAF has grown with more clients each year needing our services, the need for sponsorship has risen to the level that warrants our asking others within our community to join our effort. Our most recent service added includes providing a meal each Friday, to our friends at Hope Connections. Hope Connections, along with several agencies in the area, sends clients to us daily who are facing homelessness without assistance from these vital services. It can be heartbreaking to turn away a family in need, due to the lack of resource funds to help sustain their housing or human service-related crisis. Credit Angel Foundation offers many services to assist the growing needs of our community but without your help, we can’t meet the needs of all of those who present with such vital needs. We are asking for you to consider becoming a community partner with a financial commitment of either a one-time or monthly donation. In-kind donations are another way you may consider assisting with the Annual Coat Drive for Children or Seniors, or Back-to-School Student Uniforms for our community’s school-aged children or sponsoring a meal for those at Hope Connections.

Every donation that we receive goes directly to helping those in need. Your donation allows us to feed, clothe, support, and provide for the underserved in our community.
